I am a self-proclaimed logistics nerd. I get giddy about things like seating charts, registration lists, contracts and other details that drive most people crazy! I love puzzles and figuring out how to make the pieces fit together.
I have experience planning large multi-day conferences for hundreds of corporate attendees as well as fundraisers of all scopes and sizes. I especially love working with nonprofits to help them run their organization more efficiently, so they are able to focus more on their mission.
While I enjoy working with all types of businesses and organizations, my true passion lies with helping nonprofit groups. Raised by a single mom, our family had very little money and I personally benefited from several charities growing up. My first pair of eyeglasses was funded by the Lions Club. I attended summer camp on scholarship. We were even a Christmas charity family one year.
Ever since, I’ve had a mindset of giving back and I have been involved in many charities as an employee, a volunteer and now as a contractor. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help and generosity of others and I feel called to work with organizations and businesses that help others. Together, we are Joined By Purpose.
When I don’t have my professional logistics hat on, I enjoy reading novels, watching movies, and doing cross stitch or jigsaw puzzles, usually with one or both of my cats snuggled on my lap. My husband and I like binge watching older TV shows, playing board games and camping and every summer we spend at least one full day at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest discovering new bands and dreaming about our next trip to Ireland. In addition, I currently serve as the President of TEMPO Waukesha, a professional women’s networking organization.
